Steve is a Commercial Property Solicitor based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

Steve first announced to his parents that he wanted to be a lawyer when he was ten years old. Four years studying law at Nottingham University and Nottingham Law School failed to put him off the Law and he has now been advising on commercial property matters for over ten years.

Based near Leamington Spa Steve likes nothing better than to walk round a development site in his wellies with one of his developer clients. Steve believes that no lawyer can advise a property developer without visiting the site and is always surprised to hear that many other lawyers don’t bother.

When he is in the office, Steve spends much of his time negotiating deals for his clients. His aim is to always achieve a better result for his clients than they were expecting. He has even been known to save his clients money.

Steve particularly enjoys advising new businesses as he feels it is here that the advice he can give is most valuable. The complexities of a lease of commercial premises or the intricacies of an asset purchase agreement can be daunting for clients who are understandably focused on making their new business a success. Steve is happy to do the boring (but essential) stuff for his clients to protect them from any unpleasant surprises in the future.

When Steve isn’t making things with words he can be found willing his syndicate’s horses to run faster on one of Britain’s many racecourses.
